The 2015-2016 school year is my 37th year in education - 18 years as a classroom teacher and 19 years as an art educator. I am in Orleans on Mondays (gr 4-8, K) and Wednesday (gr 1-3) afternoons. I am in Barton (Ms. Marsh's K, 1st, 2nd, 5th & 7th grade) on Tuesdays. In May of 2014 I graduated from St. Michael’s College with a Masters of Education, Arts Concentration. I am also a Peer Leader for the Orleans Central Supervisory Union Professional Learning Community (PLCs) for the Unified Arts, PE, Guidance, & the Librarians.
My husband is a part-time Social Studies teacher at Lake Region, having semi retired after 41 years in the classroom. Our son just finished a Master's program at Dartmouth University and he will receive his diploma in December. He also works for the college in one of the administrative offices. Our daughter also graduated from St. Michael’s College in the spring of 2014. She works as an Assistant Editor for a publishing company in Woodstock. The kids live 40 minutes from each other, so visiting them is easy! To round out the family, we have two cats adopted for the Pope Memorial Animal Shelter.
